Apollo Elementary PTA

The Apollo Elementary PTA’s mission is to encourage and support a positive school environment with our students, staff, families and community as we strive to be advocates for programs and policies that nurture youth and education.  We do this by sponsoring and funding programs, recruiting and mentoring volunteers, and working in collaboration with the Apollo staff.

Our goals in achieving our mission include

  1. Obtain 100% PTA Membership this school year through providing additional benefits with membership, promoting corporate memberships,  and emphasis on increase the number of family memberships (count as 2 memberships).
  2. Continue to transition to primarily passive fundraising (pass the hat and script) with fundraising limited to entertainment book sales in the fall and an art auction in the winter/spring.
  3. Build volunteer base by focusing on filling the organization chart with as many different volunteers as possible.
  4. Encourage new family fun nights and social events that strengthen relationships between Apollo staff, students and families, and the community by hosting one new event this school year (Multi-cultural Night).
